This is the first review I've put on Amazon, and I've certainly given it enough time and tried to work with the company.
I've had this unit since July 2013, and have struggled with it the entire time.

It is extremely annoying having to constantly shut down your PC and restart it when you want to watch TV every time. This is very annoying because as an HTPC I always leave the PC running. They said you have to shutdown the PC every time in order to keep the tuner from freezing up. I spoke with customer support and this is a known issue. You have to constantly cycle the power off then back on in order to get the tuner working again.

Ever since install everything has worked with no issues my only problem with this is that if the computer goes to sleep for some reason the tuner will freeze up and not allow you to reconnect when you return to watch TV the next time. I recently set up another small HTPC for my living room TV and due to the lack of PCI slots I had to get an external tuner so I figured I would try this Hauppauge tuner since the Ceton external tuner was close to $400. I have had an HTPC set up for over 10 years now using a Ceton tuner which still runs great.
